This is a lovely aire and it gets crazy busy in high season – these pictures are a bit deceptive because we were there in mid-December 2017 but returned in April to catch some rays!
Access is easy from the Taninges side of the mountain – at the first roundabout in town turn right and look out for the blue CampingCar sign. Navigate between the flag poles and over the bridge to access the aire. The Flot Blue is on the left before you go over the bridge (turn left at the bus shelter) so get filled up first. It says it has electric but it’s not true… just water and waste disposal for tanks and cassettes. This is the service area where you’ll also find the bins – usual variety for recycling and also the location for the free ski bus that takes you up town to the other lift area.
There’s another cassette disposal area in the aire itself but no water for rinsing.
Guaranteed to find a few seasonaires (the real pros) there who are always on hand with help and advice.
Les Gets pairs brilliantly with Morzine (new aire) and Praz de Lys if you’re on tour.
